we'll do these one at a time.. for now.

So this is Prague, my first stop on my spring break extravaganza. Woo! I flew into Prague and by the time I made it through customs, got my bag and found my hostel it was about 7pm. So I kind of got a late start that day.. but still went out on the town, saw some things and hung out with two really nice Czech girls.. they told me that if I stayed in Prague or came back, not to pay for accommodation and to stay with them. We exchanged emails, and have already had a few chats back and forth.. guess who's going to Prague again sometime!!?

PRAGUE!!

these are the Czech girls I hung out with my first night in Prague
Petra, Me and Katka.

in front of the Old Town Bridge Tower, the entrance to the Royal Route through Old Town and over Charles bridge.. around the corner from my hostel.

Old Town Square

The Jan Hus Monument in Old Town Square

A marionette shop

The Astronomical Clock.

The beginning of Charles Bridge. The bridge was built over the Vltava in 1357.. there are A LOT of charles bridge. just wait.

Hanging off of the Bridge.. looking towards the Castle.

I think I just zoomed in.. the Castle

After I made it across the bridge, it took me a while, not because it's long but because I was caught staring at almost everything! I had to walk through these cute little cobblestone streets to make my way towards the castle

Then I got to the castle.. just in time to catch yet another version of the changing of the guard. At least I think that's what this was.. you can decide for yourself. I didn't get a good video of them actually changing, only the new guys marching in.

St Vitus Cathedral inside the castle. Construction started on this in 1344.

The other side of the Cathedral.

view into town from the castle. The first Prague castle was built in the 9th century.

Then after I made it back across the bridge, I climbed the tower at the beginning of it and got an awesome 360 view of the city.. it looked a little something like this.

Tyn Church in Old Prague Square at night. looked like Disney Land

Dancing house (Czech: Tančící dům)

I took this picture cause it made me think of dad.. can you figure out why.

A park I found wandering.. don't let the blue skies in any of these pictures fool you.. it was freezing

Na Zdraví -Cheers! (to your health) in Czech.
